Why I love Kristopher Neil Allen;

• The eight winner of American Idol.  
• The son of Kimberly and Neil Allen, brother of Daniel Allen and part of one of the most amazing families alive. His mom, - nicknamed Mama Allen, - is a twitter goddess and alongside the rest of the Allen family, she has every Kris fan in the palm of her hand with her witty words and love for everything good and great.
• A man that decides to use a word like ‘kick awesome’ is already one of the most perfect human beings in this world.
• In his junior year of High School, he met and fell in love with Katy O’Connell. Kris’ proposal to Katy is one of the most beautiful things, I have ever heard of; “Kristopher’s proposal was absolutely perfect. I figured he might ask me to marry him sometime after Christmas, so I was completely shocked when he did it on a random Thursday. He enlisted the help of my best pal Leeanne and asked her to take me to the square in Fayetteville. I thought that he was in Central Arkansas that night and had no idea that he had driven up that day. Leeanne told me that we were going to the coffee shop in the square to see one of her friends, but she pulled into a parking spot by a bench before we got there. She told me to go look under the bench and that she was leaving me there. At first I was a bit freaked out, but I eventually obeyed her strange request. Under the bench I found a letter with a number one on it. I sat on the bench and read the letter. It said “do you remember when” and talked all about when we first got together. The end of the letter told me to go to the next bench where I found another letter full of memories and instructions to move to yet another bench. This went on until I finally got to the 5th bench. When I opened the 5th letter it said “Do you remember when it was November 15th on a cold night in Fayetteville, AR and I asked you to marry me?” The next thing I knew Kristopher was walking towards the bench with his guitar. He sat down and started singing a song that he had written for me. The song ended with “will you marry me”, and then he got down on one knee an asked me in ‘non-singing’ words. I of course said yes and he gave me the most beautiful ring.” The two married  on September 26th, 2008. Kris has described Katy to be his best friend and said, - several times, - that she is “the coolest chick on the planet,”. I find this amazing in every way.
• His full name is Kristopher Neil Allen, but usually he goes by Kris Allen. And can I just, - Kris with a ‘K’? How can you not love that?
• When Kris was 12 years old, one of his ribs were surgically removed because he had a tumor, - 1 year later he picked up the guitar and taught himself how to play. 
• When Kris was a child, he didn’t like singing in front of family and friends, so for Christmas and birthdays he’d give his mom and dad so called ‘music coupons’, - on a scale from one to a million, how cute is that?
• And speaking of Kris as a child, - adorable baby is adorable.
• From 4th to 12th grade he played the viola, - and actually got a spot in the Arkansas all-state orchestra.
• Kristopher Neil Allen has a very stupid face. 
• Before American Idol he made an album by himself. The album was called ‘Brand New Shoes’, - and is full of amazing songs.
• Kris has a best friend, - his name is Cale. Together they are, - Krale.
• Kris’ band is epic in every way. It consists of Chris Torres, Ryland Steen, Andrew DeRoberts, Cale Mills and of course, Kris Allen. Together they are; CRACK.
• Never in my life has I seen a friendship that is as amazing as the friendship between Adam Lambert and Kris Allen . People said they couldn’t get along, but somehow along the way they became great friends. They sat next to each other in Hollywood Week and they ended up being the last two standing. Hell, even their moms are bffs. That’s insane. On the hometown visits, Kris had painted one of his fingernails black, and Adam had removed one of his black nails. They said, that they did it to carry a piece of each other home. There’s also the infamous huggle attack and Adam’s slight crush on Kris, that Kris was flattered by. The fans nicknamed them Kradam and a bromance was born. 
• Kris Allen is a great hugger.
• I’ve seen Kris Allen mad one time. One freaking time. It was during the Top 4 duets, where Simon Cowell said that Danny Gokey did better than Kris.
• A man that looks like this when he sings, - how can you not love him?
• His face when he won American Idol. - WHO LOOKS LIKE THAT… EVER?
• On the Idols Tour the idols had to use fake names when they checked into the hotels. Kris Allen chose ‘Bow Chica Wow Wow’. Enough said.
• This is the kind of thing he does in his freetime. Yes that is a snuggie and yes that is Allison Iraheta on the right.
• He tweets insane things. 
• He loves his fans.
• He’s bendy! (What? I need people around me that are bendy.)
• Kris Allen wears awesome t-shirts.
• And then there’s the music. Kris’ second and selftitled album that he made after Idol is full of great songs, for example Live Like We’re Dying and Alright With Me. He makes great covers like Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Heartless. He also does amazing mash ups like Falling Slowly/With or Without You or Heartless/Gangsta’s Paradise and when he sings, it’s heartfelt, for example when he sang Ain’t No Sunshine on American Idol. 
• Kris is hilarious. Completely and utterly hilarious. 
• And you know what? This is just some of the reasons why I love him. He will always be special to me and he will always be my number one. It’s like when I see his face, I smile and I’m happy. When something amazing happens to him, I feel like crying out of sheer joy. He has brought me so many great things in life and I am forever grateful for that. It’s something people don’t always understand, but you know what? That’s okay. He’s important to me and that’s all that matters.
